If you break one nail, do you cut all the others down too or do you just have one short one?

I've got one nail that is on the verge of breaking but I don't want to cut them all down so I've kinda filed the little nick away and now my nail is all wonky. Oh the dilemmas of a woman...If you break one nail, do you cut all the others down too or do you just have one short one?
I really hate when that happens ...its such an odd feeling on your hand as well...but I just file the one that is broken and wait on the broken one to grow out ...and maybe you could just wear clear polish to keep less attention to it while it grows...If you are going to a party or event you could always go and get one put on, but those are so hard on my nails ...so if you do choose to get a nail put on I would just buy one at Walmart or somewhere like that I think those might be not as harsh on your nail.

I cut all the other ones down to match the nail that broke. It looks bad when you have 1 short nail %26amp; the rest long. Think about it would you have all short nails except 1 long one? No All your nails have to match color, length %26amp; shpae. I hope this helps! Good Luck :)
Well, due to my job, doesn't matter how careful I am I still occasionally break my nail. I used to cut them down, but now I learned to repair them in case they break.





All you have to do is put a dot of superglue on your nail where it's breaking, and use the glue tip to spread it around a little. Don't touch anything for about five minute and file smooth with a very fine nail file.





However, it might be helpful to cut all your nail down a little bit to prevent it from breaking further. So yeah, even if you want to cut the broken nail, you can cut down the rest just a little bit so it's not too noticeable. Besides, cutting your nail will make it gorw faster.
I usually file my all down. I really hate it when that happens
cut them! if it is a thumb nail, you can get away with leaving it shorter than the rest, anything else looks tacky.
i cut mine all down if i break one. It just bothers me if one is shorter than the rest. thats why I rarely ever have long nails. they are always breaking.
I cut mine all down, but i can't stand if they all arent the same length, but my mother will leave one short and the rest long.
Don't cut them all, its not worth one broken one to ruin the rest, just let it grow back, paint your nails or somthing so it's not as noticable.
take em all off and go get them done..who wants tacky looking nails???? make you look broke!
personally, I usually file them all down a little bit so that the one nail does not look so far off from the others. But you don't have to file them all down completely. Maybe just slightly shorter while the broken one catches up again. = )
