I have a metal rat, maybe pewter, with two nails or spikes sticking down underneath. What is it for ?

it's about 8cm long, nose to tail.

I thought it could be to stick in cheese as a decoration, but could just as easily be to hammer into wood !!I have a metal rat, maybe pewter, with two nails or spikes sticking down underneath. What is it for ?
its to stick on top the block of cheese that u serve at a cheese party....u slice a few slices and stick the rat ontop the block so ppl can hold it (and not the cheese) if they need stability in cutting more slices...lolI have a metal rat, maybe pewter, with two nails or spikes sticking down underneath. to scare the mice out of your fridge!

:P nah i'm only joking, like the other people already said its just for decoration and to stick in cheese!

dont hammer it into wood..that would be wierd! :P

haha. this didn't help atall, i dont mind if you dont pick me as best answer coz it was all just stating the obvious really =D

xxxx
Its just a decoration I would say from the description you have given. Try and put a picture on of it! Its seems very small.
It sounds like either something to be stuck into food (likely cheese) as you have guessed, or possibly something to be stuck into dirt like a potted plant or outside in the garden. Sounds cute, I want one!
Just a cute deco that will stay put.

Where did you get it?
