today this cute girl asked to see my hand. i said ';sure';. then she took this sanding block and tried to buff away the lines in my nails.of course i took me's hand back real quick. anywho, why do girls sand down the tops of the nails? i told her i musta been born 300 years too late....cause i just dont get it.

We don't sand it down we polish/sand it down. This nail file that is smooth right. It makes it shiny.
it's a way of grooming them, so they're not all jagged and pointy. and they're even.
so theyre all the same length. and to make them soft and shiny
