As for the question you're really asking... It's basic instinct. Men have a need built into them to procreate. In other words, they're driven to make babies. It's programed into all the creatures that walk this earth. Trust me, speaking as a guy, most men would rather not have this need built into them. It's like they have two brains. One for them and one for their penis. We can't help it. It goes away for the most part when we reach the mid point in our lives. It's just a fact of life that you'll have to come to grips with.Why do they nail coffin lids down?

1). Um, Coffins were nailed so it would be more difficult for people to raid coffins for jewels and what-not that were buried with the bodies.





2). Men think of lots of stuff. It just happens that sex is most prominent.

They dont want them to get out. Why do you put sex in the same catagory with DEATH.
I think it's to keep dirt out and all that nasty stuff. Or maybe, the body could end up smelling and seaping through the dirt if it was not nailed down. Also, it would probably be harder for grave diggers to get them if the coffin was nailed down.

They nail coffin lids down so that the dead people can't get out. Not all men always think of sex, but if they do, its because they either haven't done it yet, or because they want to do it again.
