Why is it that people get goose bumbs when someone uses their nails and scratches down the chalkboard?

i'm just curious why people get goose bumbs when they here that...along with why do people get grossed out about writting on chalkboards. Why is it that people get goose bumbs when someone uses their nails and scratches down the chalkboard?
Goose bumps are when the hairs on our skin stand up as a response to something uncomfortable or frightening. When we feel scared or threatened, our hair stands up just like porcupines do. I guess the sound of scratching on a chalkboard is uncomfortable for some people because of its high pitch and distinct sound to our sensitive eardrums.

Same with the writing, it just makes a sound that is irritating to people. Hope that answers your questions! Why is it that people get goose bumbs when someone uses their nails and scratches down the chalkboard?
its the feeling and high pitched your ears can't handle, which is VERY uncomfortable...
