Not really. A lot can happen to a story in a couple of thousand years. The very existence of multiple sects and subsects...some of which aggressively at war with one another...strongly suggests at least a few alterations and embroideries on the original tales.
The actual events, if there ever were any, are lost to time and buried under legend and dogma. I have yet to see any evidence that there was ever any kind of divine inspiration in either case. I find it more likely that Jesus and Mohammed were two particularly charismatic fellows who got large followings, and had lots of fairy tales tacked on to them afterwards.Why people nail down JESUS and why GABRIEL chose MOHAMED to Islam?you think this is true stories?

No - they are fictions of overactive, perverted minds. Mohamed ( a schizophrenic) elevated himself compelled by greed and lust for women and blood..... He was actually smart that way when it comes to intimidation and conquests. God would never talk like what Islam preaches, represents...... nor would the Christian god or the one of the Jews whispering words and commands of committing genocide and war (in his name) in the heads of Moses etc etc. It is all man-made and has no divine references.
For me i respect your belief i hope you respect mine.
The stories are true, but whether Jesus or Mohamed really were sent here by God depends on if you believe in God or not.
