How to install, 3/8'; nail down hardwood flooring. How do you lay it out to go from one room to another.?

Go to the below listed web site and it will walk you through the layout and installation procedures. It is quite long. But, that what you have to do to install it correctly. How to install, 3/8'; nail down hardwood flooring. How do you lay it out to go from one room to another.?
start in room by squareing it up. measure over from one wall say 6ft.at the corner. on the same wall in the other corner measure over 6ft. use a chaulk line connect the dots. lay a piece of flooring exactly on the edge of the line and continue flooring. nail with brad nailer into the leading edge of each board and insure the nail is set. when you are done there will be no holes to puddy except for the last piece of flooring. going from room to room will require lots of notching..... just take your time and always try to foresee up coming problems. such as a small gap on the edge of a wall can be covered with base board.....ect. good luckHow to install, 3/8'; nail down hardwood flooring. They make a Tool that you load with a special nail, place the head in the Floor grove, and strike with a mall at driver on top-you can rent them.

The Lay out you ask about can be difficult- and several factors are involved- is there a doorway between the rooms or is there a hall way- Start by finding the center of the first room in both directions, off set half the width of the flooring, and chalk a line on both marks, start on the Center offset line- each edge of the room will then be even- but this may not the same in the other Rooms- You can break the flooring under a door with a border piece, then do the other room the same way as the first- or continue laying into the other room and hall- hard to keep it straight and even borders as they are different measurments.
